{Double Digits}

My Ivy Ru is now the big DOUBLE DIGITS!

Ten months old!? Is that possible?? Where the heck did the time go?? I have been reflect A LOT the last few weeks since she turned 10 months and I am a very sad and sappy mother. The slightest videos online about babies make me cry. Ivy's baby pictures are giving me "baby fever" and I find that I don't like her getting so big so FAST! It hurts my heart! I wasn't prepared for the time to pass like it has. I wasn't prepared at all. Talks of adding another little to our family has begun since we want our kiddos close in age and having these talks make me even more depressed!!! Am I being selfish that I want another baby so soon or should I give myself more time with Ivy? Well I have decided to YET AGAIN leave it all up to the good LORD!!! He decided when it was time for Richard and I to have a baby. He picked the perfect time then and He will pick the perfect time with the next babe. So stop asking people!!! Haha In the meantime we will treasure every second with Ivy Victoria and keep making memories and taking millions of pictures of her!!! :)

{Letters to Ivy}

My sweet Ivy,

I can't get over how much you have grown in the last 9 months. Time needs to slow down and let me take it all in. I look back at your newborn pictures and it makes me sad that you aren't my tiny little butterball anymore. These days you are getting into anything and everything. You are a pro-crawler now and love to pull yourself up on the couch, ottoman, tv stand, and wherever else you can pull up on. You get brave sometimes and let go and stand up all by yourself. I think you will be walking really soon. You have started eating solid food and love sweet potatoes, corn, peas, pretty much everything really. You can still fit into 6m-9m clothes but just barely. You weigh almost 18 pounds. The curiosity you have about the world around you makes me think that you are going to love being able to walk around and get into things you probably shouldn't. You wanna do things your way and your way only. Even feeding you is getting difficult because you wanna feed yourself with the spoon, but you just wanna chew on it mostly. You have 4 teeth now, two on top and two on bottom! Teething has been awful lately. You run a low fever some nights and it breaks my heart that I can't help you. You still love Frozen and you have come to really love watching Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. You love walking around the house in your walker and being able to watch Gunner outside. Your hair is getting so long and it makes me excited to be able to use little bows here soon! I can't believe in 3 short months you will be a ONE YEAR OLD! Guess I should start planning your birthday party huh?! I already have lots of ideas for it! Your birthday actually falls on Thanksgiving Day this year so your will be a Turkey baby for sure! I can't wait for the holiday season this year! Halloween is next month and I have no clue what you will be dressed as! Then Thanksgiving and Christmas with our family will be so fun! Many memories will be made for sure!

 Ivy Ru you are such a sassy little girl but you also have such a kind spirit. My favorite part of the day is in the mornings when you wake up and you start loving on me and snuggling up to me. You sit up and your smile is as bright as the morning sunshine! You are such a fun baby. I love you so much! I feel like every month I say that this is my favorite stage of your life so far. You are my favorite!

{New "JOB"}

Hey Folks!!!

So I started a new "JOB" on August 14th, 2014. I became a Beachbody Coach. I put quotations around job because I don't feel like it's a job! I actually ENJOY what I do as a coach! I get to help people achieve their health and fitness goals! I get to motivate them, keep them accountable, and give them support!

I prayed for a while about becoming a coach. I wasn't sure if coaching was for me. I had doubts and fears in my head but after doing more and more research on it and watching a lot of YouTube videos, I knew this was something that I would love doing!

Then I took that step and contacted the lady that I wanted to be MY coach, Brittany, and she helped me sign up as a coach and purchase a Challenge Pack from Beachbody!
I ordered the 21 Day Fix Challenge Pack and it came with the fitness program AND a 30 day supply of Shakeology, which I got in chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla.

I was SUPER excited to be a part of a "FAMILY" that had the same kind of wants & desires I had.
I signed up as a coach for MANY reasons. Just to name a few.... I wanted to contribute financially to my family and help us get out of debt. I wanted to help people reach their goals whether it be fitness goals, health goals, even financial goals. And most importantly, I wanted to get healthy for ME and my family. I want my daughter to look up to me in every way possible, even my eating habits and daily exercise.

This is a new chapter in my life and I am so ready to see where God takes me with it! I have been doing the 21 Day Fix and drinking Shakeology for lunch for two weeks now and have already had great results!!!

As you can see I have lost pounds and inches that I never wanna see again!!!
I have lost the bloating and really thinned out all over! And more importantly I feel AMAZING!
I get excited to workout every day and I love drinking my Shakeology after the workouts!

If you are reading this post and you want to learn more about being a Coach or the 21 DAY FIX, comment below OR email me at meaganrubright@gmail.com OR on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/meagan.rubright

Have an awesome day y'all!

{Dear Ivy}

My sweet little girl,

You never cease to amaze me. I wake up every single morning with a smile on my face because you are the first thing I see when I open my eyes.  You are such a blessing to your Daddy and I. You have been in our lives for a little over 6 months now and those 6 months have been the best months of my entire life. Your existence has changed so many lives. You have stolen so many hearts. You have brightened the days of many people. Ivy, I pray that you continue to make a difference in this world. May you always be a light for Jesus in this dark place we call home. I hope you always feel the loved by your family and friends. My love for you in unending. I prayed long and hard for you. God blessed me beyond measure! At 6 months old you have started eating baby cereal and baby food! You absolutely LOVE carrots and apples mixed. You are almost able to sit up by yourself. You weigh just under 15 pounds and are a little over 25 inches long! You are going to be tall and skinny I bet! You wear 3-6 and 6-9 month clothes. You still love your swing and are really liking your new high chair. You have started laughing out loud a lot more lately. That's the cutest sound! I am holding you in my left arm/lap and typing with my right hand. You are fast asleep with a full belly of Mama's milk. You still love to nurse and I am so glad! The day you stop nursing will be a very sad day for me. The bond that breastfeeding you has given us is one that I will treasure forever and I pray that bond will continue to get stronger and stronger. Since we have moved into our new house we have finally started buying things for your room! I am so excited to see the finished product! Well baby girl, it's way past our bedtime. I love you with all of my heart Ivy.

Love always,

Mama

{Let's Play Catch Up Part 2}

Ok so another exciting thing that we have done since we got the States, was driving to Arizona to see my brother and his family! {Yes I said drove...} We met Joshua, Lauren, and Eva {MY NEW NEICE!!!!} at a hotel about an hour away from The Grand Canyon. We spent the night and the next day we drove to the Canyon. I have to say that Mama, Josh, and I have been to the Grand Canyon before and it was the most amazing place I have ever seen!! {And I lived in Europe for 3 years!} I have never felt so close to Heaven in my life! So needless to say I was ecstatic to be going back! I was also glad that my Granny & Papa were there to see it too, since they had never been before, which is surprising because they have been all over the United States. We finally found a parking spot and then walked to the edge of the world! {Not really but it feels like it!} It was beautiful! The view is breathtaking for sure!
We had a great week with Josh and his little family but it was time for us RuBright's to go back and start a new chapter of our lives! DRUMROLL.......We bought a house!!! I know we are grown ups now! HA! We found the perfect house for us in Fayetteville, North Carolina! It's a very cute 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. It has a big fenced in yard and a nice screened-in porch. I love it! The home buying process took right at a month from start to finish which was great but we still ended up having to stay with some friends that moved from Italy as well. It was a HUGE blessing for them to let us stay with them for 3 weeks while we were waiting to close on our home. We love North Carolina so far! Richard likes his new unit a lot too. I haven't met many new people yet. I am still in the process of unpacking all of our boxes! So yeah a lot has happened since we moved from Italy {too much to write about unfortunately}. I need to post pictures but I can't get my computer to upload them....  :( BOOO!

Maybe next time!

{Let's Play Catch Up Part 1}

Well it's been a couple of weeks {almost months} since I wrote on here and I have LOTS to talk about!

Our last few days in Italy were nothing short of hectic. And sad. And I was nowhere near ready for them to end but at the same time I was... Saying "see you later" was not a fun thing for me. We left behind lifelong friends that I am so very thankful for.

We had a time actually leaving the country.... We missed our flight the first time and I was so mad that the ladies at the desk wouldn't let us check in and try to make the flight. I cried for like an hour straight, I was so upset. We did get to leave the next day though, and we were sooooo grateful to be back in America (mainly the South) where they have sweet tea and people say Y'ALL and MA'AM! My family was there at the airport waiting for us to get there. We had to have two cars because we had so much luggage with us. It takes it when you move to another country!

The first Saturday we were home, we had a "Meet the Baby Shower" since we never had a shower for us and because LOTS of our friends and family members hadn't met Ivy yet! Ivy was very loved to say the least. We are so blessed! Here are some pics from the shower.

FOUR Generation Picture!!!

Ivy and her Auntie Amber

Because Ivy is totally a world traveler!
The lovely Amber Maxey made this for us!

This was our way of seeing who all was at the shower!

After a few days went by, we decided it was time to buy us {ME} a Mama Car!!!! Here is our new ride!
Her name is Ruby!

Lots more has happened since we returned to America, but that will be on another post later today!
